De Rice Asian Cuisine

De Rice always delivers before or on time and the food is great for the price. Their serving sizes are huge, so even a small can be almost two meals in one! Their wonton soup is a bit different than what I am use to, but it is one of my favorite things to order. On top of the great food, their delivery drivers are incredibly nice! Best Chinese food in Hyde Park, hands down.

I am always pleased with the food here at De Rice. My weekend trips to Chicago are not complete without stopping here and feasting on the delicectable dishes. Every item on the menu is fresh and flavorful. And jackpot, the price is right! Do yourself a favor and order some takeout from this hidden gem nestled on the South Side of the Windy City.

Amazing, as always. Never fails to disappoint, got the fried rice, beef with orange peel and fresh mixed veggies. Christmas they closed early due to an overload of orders but still made the effort to call ahead and inform us they wouldnt be able to deliver. I always appreciate this neighborhood gem, keep on keeping on!

This restaurant has consistently exceeded my expectations for quality of food and quality of service. I have only ever had my food delivered, but it was always delivered a bit earlier than expected, which was always welcome. The delivery driver was always kind, pleasant, and cordial! I highly recommend this spot.

I love De Rice. They have the typical American/Chinese dishes, but they also have some that are pretty authentic too!--best in the south side of Chi-town for sure. Delivery is always on time, food is generous portions, and the guy who delivers is always so kind and nice.

This was my first time ordering here - we got the shrimp fried rice, the traditional wings and the scallion pancakes with shrimp. The shrimp in both the rice and the scallion pancake were cooked to perfection - I can't believe they were so tender and not rubbery (it is take out afterall). Also, large sized rice was generous, the wings were only 4 wings, but they whole wings, not pieces. The scallion pancakes are a must try - mix the spicy oil and the soy sauce mixture together for a great dip!! Order was so incredibly fast AND good - will definitely be ordering from DeRice from here on out!

This was my second time ordering and the food was just as good. Food arrived hot and much earlier than expected. I will definitely order again.
